Title:
Firefox geolocation does not work
Status in The Mozilla Firefox Browser:
Won't Fix
Status in One Hundred Papercuts:
Fix Released
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
The ability for websites to detect location does not work in the
Ubuntu version of Firefox.
For example: http://noc.to/geoloc
The call to the Geolocation API will wait indefinitely or time out.
This is because Ubuntu's Firefox packagers need to include a key for
the Google Maps Geolocation API.
