[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1321008] Re: Screen(s) froze in Gnome-shell.

2022-12-05 Thread Paul White
We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all
reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago
and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) reached end-of-standard-support on April 25, 2019.

Does this bug report have any relevance when using a currently supported
version of Ubuntu? Please let us know if it does otherwise this report
can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1321008] Re: Screen(s) froze in Gnome-shell.

2014-12-09 Thread KML
I worked arround the problem by running rdesktop with the -b flag - Info
from rdesktop man: -b : Force the server to send screen updates as
bitmaps rather than using higher-level drawing operations.

Since i did this i havn't had this problem even once, but it takes a
heavy toll on the bandwidth, and on slow connections this is far from
ideal.

Hope you find a fix.
