It's 'fixed' the same way: by moving focus to another window and then returning to firefox. That may be right. I use kdevelop/kate extensively and they definitely show the problem. I thought that I had seen it happen with Firefox though, but I am not certain. What's the bug id for the known qt problem? I searched before submitting a bug report and nothing turned up.
