Title:
  Use traditional titlebar and menubar (Unity7, Xenial)

Status in gnome-system-log package in Ubuntu:
  Opinion

Bug description:
  Gnome System log uses gtk-headerbar under unity and crashes after
  clicking minimize button with any third party gtk-theme (another-bug).
  It is very annoying for system admins other other desktop-users. One
  way to get rid of that bug is to use unity-decoration under unity.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1570022] Re: Use traditional titlebar and menubar (Unity7, Xenial)

2016-04-15 Thread Khurshid Alam
@Sebastien

It is crashing with Adwaita like any other CSD apps (i.e. gnome-builder
or gnome-tweak-tool). See bug #1570843. As system-log is a default
desktop app, users are forced only to use Ambiance/Radiance for entire
xenial cycle unless the above mentioned bug gets fixed.

Even if we can not create patch for menubar in time, we should at least
use "unity_no_csd" patch for it.
