The menu items for suspend/shut down/log out usually vanish as well, which makes it hard to find a good solution. I find that killing my session manager restarts X and everything goes back to normal on next login. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1576546] Re: random letters don't display after resume from sleep
Thank you for your bug report, that's more like an intel driver issue than a compiz bug, e.g similar to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88584 Does it happen after every resume? ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #88584 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88584 ** Package changed: compiz (Ubuntu) => xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576546 Title: random letters don't display after resume from sleep Status in xserver-xorg-video-intel package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When I resume from a long suspend in Xenial, I find that most of the letters do not display.
