  unable to On wifi (Air plane mode always ON) in ubuntu gnome 16.04.

Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Previously Wifi was in working condition By adding extra packages from
  software updates -> Additional Drivers. But now I can not able to
  connect with wifi. It only shows in Air Plane mode.

  I am using Laptop Thinkpad T520 
  OS = ubuntu gnome 16.04 
  Network card = Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205 [Taylor Peak]
