gnome-software is the correct source package if it is a bug. But the warning message you included in the bug description shows up also when the application launches successfully, so it doesn't help much. Can you please try to open gnome-software again. I was trying to report that something is wrong with my installation. I cannot add or remove programs. The menu ikons give no response.
