The vivid backport of the plugin seems problematic at this point, it uses several new core location features from 5.6. If Qt 5.5 has a working plugin, I assume Qt 5.6 in yakkety and xenial phone overlay is fine, so adding only OTA task. There's a ticket now for this https://requests.ci- train.ubuntu.com/#/ticket/1900 , remains to be seen how hard the backporting is. It seems it will need even more location core changes backporting than what was done a few months ago when newer OSM/MapQuest plugin was ported. With Qt 5.5 there's a working MapBox plugin which could be used as a replacement for the MapQuest plugin.
