clarify:

1) After the crash, does a crash file populate in /var/crash ?
2) Could you please advise what you do to reproduce this problem?
3) Could you please attach a file that reproduces this problem?

  I using ubuntu 16.04.1. The core: libreoffice-core 1:5.1.4-0ubuntu1

This happens for me from time to time as well. I haven't been able to
pinpoint it to some specific action I'm doing, seems random to me.
