Title:
Ubuntu Modifications 3.2 disables Multi-Process electrolysis

Status in ubufox package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Ubuntu Modifications 3.2 utilses the older plugin architecture that is
pending deprecation in Firefox 57+ See https://developer.mozilla.org
  /en-US/Add-
  ons/Overlay_Extensions/XUL_School/Getting_Started_with_Firefox_Extensions.

Enabling Ubuntu Modifications 3.2 automatically disables Multi-Process
firefox for compatibility reasons. This hampers all the performance
and security improvements that are part of the electrolysis project.

Ubuntu Modifications 3.2 requires an update to support the new
  extension platform.
