Desktops for users 1002 and 1003 are corrupted with some sort of XFCE type of theme. Users admin (installer) and 1001 have the correct theme. This bug has never happened before in any release of Ubuntu. Are these machines working now or do you have the same issues? The desktop of 1002 looks like the GNOME session as Sebastien says (on the login screen click your name then the cog in the bottom-right to see what session is being used) - this has different default settings for the theme etc which is why it looks completely different! I think the 1001 desktop's left dock is probably moved upwards by Docky?
