  3. Navigate to the needed file on MTP-device with Caja

  4a. Try to open text file with Pluma from Caja or from terminal:
  Unexpected error: libmtp error: Unknown error.

  4b. Try to open text file with `cat`:

  $ cat /run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp\:host\=%5Busb%3A003%2C003%5D/SD-card/file.txt

There is no bug in GVFS. The problem is old Android, which does not
support MTP i/o extensions. Android 5.0 and higher is not affected. On
4.0 - 4.4 user must copy file/folder from MTP-device to the local
storage and then open it from here.

  Unable to open files from MTP-device: : Input/output error

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Connect MTP-device to laptop
  2. Caja file browser opens
  3. Navigate to the needed file on MTP-device with Caja

  4a. Try to open text file with Pluma from Caja or from terminal:
  Unexpected error: libmtp error: Unknown error.

  4b. Try to open text file with `cat`:

  $ cat /run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp\:host\=%5Busb%3A003%2C003%5D/SD-card/file.txt
  cat: '/run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:host=%5Busb%3A003%2C003%5D/SD-card/file.txt': 
Input/output error

  4c. Try to open video file with `vlc` from Caja or from terminal:

  $ vlc /run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp\:host\=%5Busb%3A003%2C003%5D/SD-
  card/video.mkv

/run/user/1000/gvfs/mtp:host=%5Busb%3A003%2C003%5D/SD-card/document.docx."

  4f. Try to open ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx, odp, odt, or doc-file with LibreOffice 
from Caja or from terminal:
  get error window with text "General Error.
  The seek operation could not be run." 
  or empty document

  4g. Try to open png- or jpg- image file with Eye of MATE from Caja or from 
terminal:
  "libmtp error: Unknown error."
