Although I might be wrong about bug bug 1727356 here. Your CPU is newer than other people experiencing that. Maybe see bug 1779476 instead. What happens if you wait a few minutes? Does it eventually come up? And what happens if you wiggle the mouse while waiting? It also happens when you type the wrong password and again login it shows black screen and cursor.
