This makes my Ubuntu installation hard to use after a day of use. Is there any workaround for this? Same here. The memory usage grows and grows. I'm having the same problem on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS. gsd-xsettings is the reason my system is even fully filling the SWAP.
