I think I am also hitting this same bug. I'm running Chromium 1506 from Snap on Ubuntu 20.04. I have two Chromium profiles. One of them is managed by my employer. When I try to start that one, I get the error message: "Your account is no longer allowed as the primary account. Because this account is managed by , your bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings will be cleared from this device." This profile seems to now be unusable - when I ack the error message, Chromium immediately quits. The other is my personal account. I can use this account, but although I am logged in to my Google account, Chromium itself is no longer logged in - I have a blank icon in the top right where my user avatar should be. Currently we have no release details, no package details; detail that is provided by apport-collect. I run the command and it said: "Package chromium-browser not installed and no hook available, ignoring" I reviewed the linked bug and, though it is similar, the difference is that I still seem to have everything, whereas in the bug it is suggested data is lost.
