*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1928536 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1928536 I can confirm this also in Ubuntu 21.04 (arm64) for Raspberry Pi 4. 1- Enable Screen sharing 2- Require password (fill the password) 3- Select network 4- Close the window On my laptop, open remmina and create a new VNC connection to the raspberry pi. Click Save & Connect and it is successfully connecting. Then click restart on raspberry pi Once restart complete and desktop is shown, I open remmina again and click connect to the VNC connection I previously created. Unfortunately remmina complains that "Authentication failed". I can't then connect to that desktop as after the reboot the password field is blank again. This worked fine in 20.10. It's not a crash so no files/error reports known. The desktop sharing is using gnome-remote-desktop now.
