Title:
gnome-shell memory use climbs when dash-to-dock show-trash is enabled

Status in gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Gnome Shell memory use grows over time

Memory for Gnome Shell can be around 2.5 GB, sometimes more. If I do
Alt-F2 r to restart shell, it drops to 250 MB and then slowly climbs
  up again.

Occasionally it goes so high on my 16 GB machine that it swaps and
  crashes.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1955058] Re: gnome-shell memory use climbs when dash-to-dock show-trash is enabled

2022-03-02 Thread Daniel van Vugt
As far as I can tell, the fix for bug 1876641 was released in ubuntu-
dock version 69 so you should have that already.

Are you still experiencing this bug? If so then with what version of
gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock?
