2022-05-26 Thread Thomas M Steenholdt
I haven't been able to find other actual bugs/issues describing this
issue, but there are threads on reddit and such that seem to indicate
that this is a wayland/gnome42 issue, and that it affects all
distributions.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101

Steps to reproduce:

After some time using firefox, I can no longer open a new window.

=> ps -ef | grep -c firefox
21

=> /snap/bin/firefox

=> ps -ef | grep -c firefox

Actual results:

=> ps -ef | grep -c firefox

There is no new process created and the window never appears.
I can open new tabs, but when I drag the tab to make it a new window, it is
never created.

The only remedy is to restart firefox. Sometimes I need to SIGTERM all

Expected results:

The window should have opened.
