Title:
  Changes in display configuration couses crash in gnome-shell and
  logout

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  If i try to configure multiple monitor setup, it is often causes
  logout, that i even can't press "keep changes" button. Also it happens
  that Ubuntu user suddenly logs-out when i unplug one of the monitors.

  Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS 64 bit
  GNOME Version 42.4
  Windowing System Wayland

  
  I fond there is a gnome-shell crash report in /var/crash, and if i try to see 
the back-trace i get following
