um diesen Vorgang abzuschließen

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 with evolution package 3.2.3-0ubuntu6

Title:
evolution can't fetch gmail imap anymore

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: evolution

For the last couple of days I've been unable to access my gmail accounts
through evolution.
I've tried everything I can think of, messing with firewall ports, playing
around with settings on my router, and playing around with ports in evolution,
but nothing is working.
I've even verified that the imap server is up by pinging imap.gmail.com.

I don't know what else to do, can someone please help?

Jakob, please file a separate bug for your issue, this one has been
closed for a long while, and it definitely not the same problem.
