Friends & Family, As most of you are aware of, less than a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. Burkitts Lymphoma to be exact.
Soon after I was first diagnosed, a friend walked in a "Relay for Life". As part of this event, she lit a candle in hope for me and dedicated her walk for my recovery. This was one of the most touching things anyone had ever done for me. I promised her at "This time next year, I will walk with you!" This was to say "thank-you" for her thoughtfulness and to give me strength, hope and courage to survive. Well, the time has come for me to fulfill my promise. I now am in remission and ready to help others in their "Relay for Life". I will dedicate this walk to all those who stood by my side through the last 11 months, and especially to a wonderful man, my father, who also passed from this dreaded disease.
