[Desktop-packages] [Bug 613886] Re: No preview on file upload after installing Flash
i have seen this in a 12.04 , not mine. in odnoklassniki.ru . flash is installed. there is multiple file upload dialog, for photos - it does not show preview. if you press cancel there, another page is shown , where there are near 5 upload fields, each opens one file selection dialog, and it has preview. all packages should be updated (at that computer), but i am not sure. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to flashplugin-nonfree in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613886 Title: No preview on file upload after installing Flash Status in Adobe Flash Plugin Tools: Invalid Status in Flash Installer: New Status in Release Notes for Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “adobe-flashplugin” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: nautilus After installing flash the file preview when uploading files is missing. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 613886] Re: No preview on file upload after installing Flash
This still wasn't fixed by Adobe, after a year. As this issue is a major lack in flow and user experience, and it affects any program that uses file browser, I would suggest adding an options pane that allows enabling the preview pane, and changing the view (icon/list). This is a major user-experience bug, because of facebook - whenever I upload an image I need to memorize the picture numbers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to flashplugin-nonfree in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613886 Title: No preview on file upload after installing Flash Status in Adobe Flash Plugin Tools: Invalid Status in Flash Installer: New Status in Release Notes for Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “adobe-flashplugin” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “adobe-flashplugin” source package in Maverick: Confirmed Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” source package in Maverick: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: nautilus After installing flash the file preview when uploading files is missing.
