[Desktop-packages] [Bug 662289] Re: I cannot stop Rhythmbox from scanning XDG_MUSIC_DIR
I'll argue that users shouldn't have to edit a cross-application hidden text file to use what appears as a straightforward setting in Rhythmbox Preferences. Either the Library Location preference should be authoritative and completely override the default location, or Rhythmbox Preferences should explain that XDG_MUSIC_DIR will always be scanned and that the user has no control over this. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: Expired = New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662289 Title: I cannot stop Rhythmbox from scanning XDG_MUSIC_DIR Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: rhythmbox I want Rhythmbox to use only ~/akorg✽/music✽/library✽ as its Library Location.
