Title:
  Libreoffice doesn't start

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: libreoffice

  I wanted to start libreoffice but it doesn't work. I get the following error
message: "The application cannot be started.
  [context="user"] caught unexpected exception!"

  I've tried as well to start it via the terminal. There I get the
  following message:

  alex@alex-VirtualBox:~$ libreoffice
  javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
  Please ensure that a JVM and the package libreoffice-java-common
  is installed.
  If it is already installed then try removing
~/.libreoffice/3/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml

  ProblemType: Bug
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
  Package: libreoffice (not installed)
  ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-6.34-generic 2.6.38-rc7
  Uname: Linux 2.6.38-6-generic i686

  ProcEnviron:
   LANGUAGE=de_DE:de:en_GB:en
   LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
   SHELL=/bin/bash
  SourcePackage: libreoffice
  UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-03-09 (1 days ago)

  WORKAROUND: Removal of ~/.libreoffice or at least ~/.libreoffice/3
  will allow libreoffice to start
