  This system was set up from scratch and tested with new created user.
  In situations with heavier load, pulse keep a sample re-loop it few
  times. This sound like dj scratching and is not funny at all, pulse
  should get higher priority to run cleanly in such situations. Exactly
  these existing options are disabled by ubuntu, so this is a bug now.

I am seeing exactly the same symptoms but on Precise, which I think may
be similar to bug #1045771

I don't know if it's a priority problem or not (I have tried renicing
pulseaudio to -20 and it doesn't help).

This is one of a very short list of problems I have with Ubuntu so I am
on a crusade to try and get it noticed by some developers. I may even
put a bounty on it if there are any takers.
