If I remove localstore.rdf from .mozilla it opens once in a non-maximized state but following opens of FF4 resume opening in full maximum (not f11 style). I am unable to specify the positions for the FF4 screen beyond one time... it resets to maximized from the second open onward. Mark, you reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time. Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an issue so the bug report can now be closed? On closer inspection, this bug specifies "maximum (not f11 style)", while bug 802974 implies actual fullscreen.
