[Desktop-packages] [Bug 822999] Re: [Oneiric] Changing system/theme fonts and/or sizes doesn't change the desktop file/folder fonts and/or sizes
The desktop view is deprecated in newer versions, closing ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/822999 Title: [Oneiric] Changing system/theme fonts and/or sizes doesn't change the desktop file/folder fonts and/or sizes Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: To reproduce, install gnome-tweak-tool and change your system fonts and font sizes on each tab. Relog or restart to let the changes take complete effect (I've noticed the titlebars don't change immediately). You'll find every application uses the new font settings as you would expect, however for some strange reason files and folders on the desktop do not. The Examples Folder and Install Ubuntu 11.10 shortcut on my desktop both use the Ubuntu font and the original font size. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate better. All fonts are set to Droid Sans (except for the monospace font which is set to Droid Mono) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/822999/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

by the way, you can fix this in gsettings with the command gsettings set org.gnome.nautilus.desktop font "" or by using dconf-editor to do the same -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/822999 Title: [Oneiric] Changing system/theme fonts and/or sizes doesn't change the desktop file/folder fonts and/or sizes Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: To reproduce, install gnome-tweak-tool and change your system fonts and font sizes on each tab.
