May be my problem is relative. I use x230 on dock station. I can confirm that changing to a suspend and then back to never kept the computer from suspending. I can also confirm what Gremlyn1 said. I can confirm that after changing settings to allow suspending then changing back to no-suspend, the setting now persists. Try setting the screen turn-off to 'Never' and then stop moving the mouse. Just an update - I changed the setting to allow it to suspend, and then changed it back and it seems to have stuck.
