It's fixed at least in version "3.5.90.really.3.4.2-0ubuntu4.1" (in the about dialog it's 3.4.2) apparently it's not in the 12.04 repositories... It works fine for me. I have local bookmarks and two SSH bookmarks. The hand icon reflects that the file will be either moved or copied over appropriately.
