[Desktop-packages] [Bug 903584] Re: Toshiba NB100 Netbook fails to setup Atheros AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter
Additional info; I've had to add "acpi=off" and "noapic" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT to allow the machine to boot properly. I'vealso tried the Ubuntu 12.10 beta 2 liveCD and it boots without these additions to grub. Network-manager also picks up my network and can connect. However, I can not install it as th machine freezes when I click the install icon. I seem to remember that I could also login to my network in a previous LiveCD, but not after installation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/903584 Title: Toshiba NB100 Netbook fails to setup Atheros AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The NB100 came pre-installed with ubuntu and is an ubuntu certified netbook, but it does not work properly with ubuntu 11.10 i386.
