No, it doesn't look like that one... I tried to use again the old
encrypted backup, but that one has another problem when doing a fresh
backup (the problem that prompted me to switch backup folder in the
first place)

all in all, with the new folder, it seems it happens far less often

It could be, since november I switched to use a fresh new backup, and it
hasn't happened anymore... I'll try to see if I kept the old encrypted
backup and I can use it again without problems

Might this have been bug 902985?  (That is, were you using an encryption
password and do you think maybe the backup never actually completed and
thus it was trying and failing to resume it?)
