Now I noticed my music collection is way smaller and even though the files are there, they no longer appear in the music library. Rhytmbox crashes if I go to settings and disable, then re-enable the checkbox that searches for new files on the library ('Vigilar mi fonoteca en busca de nuevos archivos' in spanish).
