[Desktop-packages] [Bug 946531] Re: Rhythmbox stops after every internet radio track on 'Absolute Classic Rock' (first in supplied list)
Check this bug too, seems to be the same "internet radio stream stops after every song Edit" Bug #974342. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/974342?comments=all -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/946531 Title: Rhythmbox stops after every internet radio track on 'Absolute Classic Rock' (first in supplied list) Status in “gstreamer0.10” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Rhythmbox comes configured with a set up 'preloaded' Internet Radio stations. Unfortunately playback stops after every track on the first of these 'Absolute Classic Rock'. Pause/Play restarts playback. Stream url is http://network.absoluteradio.co.uk/core/audio/ogg/live.pls?service=vcbb This may not be a Gstreamer issue as the station plays correctly with other Gstreamer-based players (e.g. Radiotray) While this may be caused by a peculiarity of the stations' streaming software it would be an issue worth investigating as the first station in the configured list is likely to be the first one users try. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 946531] Re: Rhythmbox stops after every internet radio track on 'Absolute Classic Rock' (first in supplied list)
Attached is rhythmbox log for the duration of the track change. What the user sees: Track plays normally: 'Highway Star' Track ends- there is a 1 second break in stream, then a new notification for the 'commercial break' 'soon - 3281' is shown, and the break starts to play. After about 10 seconds, the commercial stops playing. Stop/start is necessary to resume playback. However, the log continues as if the stream is actually playing, when it is not. ** Attachment added: "log of track change in Rhythmbox for 'Absolute Radio'" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/946531/+attachment/2966269/+files/rhythmbox.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/946531 Title: Rhythmbox stops after every internet radio track on 'Absolute Classic Rock' (first in supplied list) Status in “gstreamer0.10” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Rhythmbox comes configured with a set up 'preloaded' Internet Radio stations. This also happens on 'Absolute Radio (Broadband)': Rhythmbox stops after every track, and I have to press Pause/Play to restart playback. Happens with Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 2 tested on Virtualbox (under W7) as wall as a native installation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/946531 Title: Rhythmbox stops after every internet radio track on 'Absolute Classic Rock' (first in supplied list) Status in “gstreamer0.10” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Rhythmbox comes configured with a set up 'preloaded' Internet Radio stations.
