Title:
In Software Centre I tried to install Audacity, it seemed to get about
half way and then stalled, it appears to still be installing but never
  completes.

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Using 11.10
I can't think of any good reason why it should just hang, normally a very big
program would have installed by now.
I did take a look at the comments below whilst it was loading which I have
done many times in the past and never before has it caused a problem.
Unfortunately I can't find a way to close it, so I guess it has to be Ctrl Alt
Delete. This could of course be an internet problem as yet I'm not absolutely
sure but everything else seems to be working perfectly.
  Terrydesu.

2012-04-18 Thread Michael Vogt
Sorry for hte slow reply.

If that is still a issue and/or reproducable it would be great to
include /var/log/apt/history.log and /var/log/syslog to this report
after the failure.
