[Desktop-packages] [Bug 955497] Re: pidgin crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc_consolidate()
This might be the same bug. Happened as I was clicking on the google feeling lucky plugin. All the other similar bugs were marked invalid. dmesg gave me this [ 9498.137664] show_signal_msg: 36 callbacks suppressed [ 9498.137677] pidgin[4289]: segfault at 7fe30019 ip 7fe3620196e5 sp 7fff99f398d0 error 4 in libc-2.15.so[7fe361f9b000+1b2000] I'll attach a file with all my information (logs.txt) If it happens again I have just downloaded the debug symbols and provide the results. --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to pidgin in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/955497 Title: pidgin crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc_consolidate() Status in “pidgin” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: 1) Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch) Release: 12.04 2) pidgin: Installiert: 1:2.10.1-1ubuntu2 Kandidat:1:2.10.1-1ubuntu2 Versionstabelle: *** 1:2.10.1-1ubuntu2 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3) No crash. 4) Crashes randomly.
