[Desktop-packages] [Bug 961826] Re: Pressing AltGR key opens http://support.mozillamessaging.com in Message Compose Window under Turkish locale

2012-08-04 Thread Basri
Emre Onur Bal's workaround solution (under the link in Savas Yasar's comment
above) works until a permanent fix is in place. This bug hit me during first
use after a fresh installation of 12.04 Pangolin and it was driving me nuts
trying to manually type a simple e-mail address.
Thanks Emre, way to go.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 961826] Re: Pressing AltGR key opens http://support.mozillamessaging.com in Message Compose Window under Turkish locale

2012-07-17 Thread Savas Yasar
I have solved this issue with the info in the following link.
Open Mozilla Thunderbird Advanced Configuration and reset app.support.baseURL
value. After resetting I can use characters related alt gr key.

Gnome, and I am also affected by this bug. It's very very annoying.

Today, I upgraded my system to 12.04 and the bug has changed its
behaivour. Now, we can type @ via AltGr key, but support page is still
being opened.

My TB version is now 11.0.1+build1-0ubuntu1
