Actual behavior: When I attempt to copy either podcasts or music to the iPod using Rhythmbox, the file is moved to a subdirectory of /iPod_Control/Music as expected, but after ejecting the iPod, the onboard interface does not report that the file has been transferred. That is, the iPod reports that it has 0 podcasts and 0 songs, then I drag a podcast onto the iPod in rhythmbox, and, although the file has been copied, the iPod continues to report that it has 0 Podcasts and 0 songs . The iPod has recently been restored to factory settings with Windows iTunes, although this behavior also occured before the restore. This issue also occurs when using banshee.
