[Desktop-packages] [Bug 982785] Re: right-click on file/folder name does not work most of the time

2012-04-16 Thread Aurele Theriault
Nautilus is configured to show file/folder lists with details. As such, the
tollowing columns are displayed: Name, Size, Type, Date.
Right-clicking on a file/folder under colum 'Name' is supposed to highlight
selected line and display menu items 'Open' ... 'Properties' but it displays
'Create Folder'... 'Properties' as if I right-clicked on an empty area.
Right-clicking under any other colums (Size, Type, Date) works ok.
Note: I ran an update just before answering this to take a screen shot of the
problem... but today's updates appear to have fixed this problem.
I guess you can close this one. Should it re-appear, I will report again.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 982785] Re: right-click on file/folder name does not work most of the time

2012-04-17 Thread Sebastien Bacher
What you describe is mostly not a bug, it's how upstream fixed the "it's
impossible to open the context menu (the one with the "create folder",
etc) in list views since there is no "empty space" to click on), if you
click on the text part of the colum you get the context menu for the
item, if you click in an "empty" part the one for the current directory
