[Desktop-packages] [Bug 987889] Re: Auto connect doesn't work
Well, yes, autoconnect doesn't work well. As for the time it takes to show up in the menu after a disconnection, it's most likely due to the type of device and it needing to be reinitialized in this case, and maybe even modeswitched again. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987889 Title: Auto connect doesn't work Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Not only auto connect doesn't work but also I can't make my usb-stick modem work from the first attempt. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 987889] Re: Auto connect doesn't work
Can you provide more information, such as debug logs for ModemManager (see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager) and what vendor, model is for your mobile device? The output of lsusb is especially useful there. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987889 Title: Auto connect doesn't work Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Not only auto connect doesn't work but also I can't make my usb-stick modem work from the first attempt.
