What exactly makes you say the arg list is too long? if I run javac */*/*.java, it says arg list is too long, but this is a system problem, not an ant problem. Another possibility is to put two compilerarg value=.../ elements, but it is important only if you have spaces in the arguments. Yep, it seems to be a problem of blanks, because if I put the -Xswitchcheck it runs well.So, I put the args on two lines now : compilerarg value=-Xmaxerrs/ compilerarg value=1000/ And it works !!! Java6-rc Ant bootstraps fine
Hi all, Just thought I'd test Ant bootstrap of the current trunk on Java6-rc - everything is fine (which is nice). Okay, looks like test-ant and test-ant-no-xerces both pass now in Gump. Hooray for me. I'm not sure. In general entity includes are supposed to work with Crimson, but I don't see us working around glitches in Crimson and Crimson itself is stalled and won't get fixed either.
