[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-3040) Solr's default configsets doesn't work with smoke test cases

2018-06-04 Thread Jun He (JIRA)
Jun He created BIGTOP-3040:
--

Summary: Solr's default configsets doesn't work with smoke test
cases
 Key: BIGTOP-3040
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-3040
 Project: Bigtop
  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: solr, tests
Affects Versions: 1.2.1
Reporter: Jun He

The default configsets used in solr is data_driven_schema_configs, which
doesn't work with solr smoke test {{TestIndexing:testSearch}}. The reason is in
{{data_driven_schema_configs}} "name" is treated as StrField, not TextField, so
the words will not be tokenized, and lead to unexpected query result.
{{sample_techproducts_configs}} should be used.

Not sure if s390x is a supported arch, but if so I can get access to that
hardware for the project on an ongoing basis.
