There hasn't been a lot of thought put into the When and How, but we
should be able to release drivers independently. When the vote was
first called, I didn't even include the Python driver since it wouldn't
have resulted in a new version.

So, I've create an artifact for version 1.0.2 of the Python driver that
corresponds to r1102850, and placed that along-side the new JDBC driver
and the 0.8.0~rc2 Debian package. If no one objects, I'd like to leave
this vote running on the existing timetable, and have it be inclusive of
this new artifact.

I hate to ruin the party but I think that we may have to reroll for

We are voting on the release of version 1.0.2 of the JDBC driver (in
addition to the 0.8.0 rc1 artifacts staged on Maven Central, and the
Debian package). The driver artifacts we are voting on are in my home
directory on people.apache.org. The URL is:

If the vote succeeds, the driver will be moved to

The stage artifacts look good from a Maven PoV.

I'll be testing them later.

Hopefully this time you'll not forget to release the staging repo ;-)
