Re: Change network functionality?

2013-09-05 Thread France

Thank you for your response Chiradeep. I have not tried to use API (yet).
Even if i can use something like cloudmonkey to use API from CLI, my
users can not.

So my question still stands, when it will be or if it's already possible
to change network(s) using CS web GUI?
And additional question: is it currently possible using API with
cloudmonkey on 4.1.1? Has anyone tried?

Tnx.
F.

Is functionality to change network in which VM is, in plan for any

If not, would anyone consider adding it?

In 4.2, UI functionality for adding/removing and updating default NIC has been
added.
You may find it in the NIC tab of an instance.
I haven't explicitly tried the APIs on 4.1.1, but the APIs should be present
there also.

Thanks,
Saksham

Yes, except for few (new ones) by default all API (except non-oss ones)
should run using latest cloudmonkey, those apis are precached and packaged
within cloudmonkey. From 4.2 onwards, users can run cloudmonkey sync to
update any API changes from a management server which has the
ApiDiscoverService plugin enabled.

Cheers.
