cloudmonkey release

2014-11-28 Thread Daan Hoogland
Rohit et al,

Can cloudmonkey 5.2.0 be archived or is this release still being
maintained? (i.e. is a 5.2.1 to be expected now that 5.3.0 is out?)

thanks

[DISCUSS] Cloudmonkey release

2014-04-23 Thread Chiradeep Vittal
Hi folks,

Yichi¹s fix to [1] uses signature version 3 in Cloudmonkey.
I have also coded and tested a way [2] to use username/password in
cloudmonkey instead of apikey and secret key.
I have some PEP8 fixes ready.

I propose we make a new release of Cloudmonkey using the process outlined
in [3]
Any concerns?

Hi Daan, yes please go ahead if you're archiving release artifacts. 5.3.0 is
latest, I'll work on a bugfix release 5.3.1 soon.

[DISCUSS] CloudMonkey release work

2016-02-16 Thread Rohit Yadav
Hi all,

It’s been months since the last official cloudmonkey release. I know many of us
have been installing cloudmonkey directly from our git repo (for example:
https://github.com/apache/cloudstack-cloudmonkey) and it has been working
without any major known issues in production.

Are there any outstanding bugs/issues you want to report and see fixed, if not
I would like to start a voting thread for our next cloudmonkey release.

There has not been a lot of changes since the last release, the new changes
since last release are:
- Support for history
- Improved csv display/output
- Improvements around auto completion

Regards.

[DISCUSS] Next CloudMonkey release v6.1.0

2020-05-08 Thread Rohit Yadav
All,

It's been over a year since the last CloudMonkey (cmk) release. While cmk
appears to stable (given no major complains) we've had a few fixes since the
last release and we must work on a release in near future (likely after 4.14
and Primate tech preview).

I've triaged a few issues for the next v6.1.0 milestone, kindly provide any
feedback, comments on this thread and report issues/feature requests here
https://github.com/apache/cloudstack-cloudmonkey/issues

Thanks.

Hi Rohit,

I'll log an issue or two (I recall using filter to display only 2

order/alphabetically, at least for some APIs).

Otherwise, +1 for the new release.
