Thats a bit fluffy, isn't it? I am using Suse 9.3 with a Sun JDK 5.04, and I am
not aware that I did something special, such as changing the default XML parser
or so, but I am getting the same error. Perhaps you could find out what is going
wrong, or at least point us to what jars are installed in another version.

I think all this problems are related to another jars versions installed in the

I've seen the same error using Sun's 1.4.2_08-b03 on WinXP. Compiling with an
earlier version of the JDK does not produce the error (for example, 
1.4.2_05-b04).
