I assume it only works because you are using dynamic selection lists. For static selection lists (i.e. those defined directly in the form definition) this definitely won't work. If we want to add this feature, we should clearly define the allowed content model of the wd:selection-list element, so that it can be supported consistently in different selection list implementations.

I have noticed that woody-field-styling.xsl uses a $uri variable to prefix all resources but it is only used in xsl:template name=woody-field-head while the part that renders calendar icon has the address hardcoded.
