I'll probably have the first classes ready in a couple of weeks. But as the

+1 to removing it from 1.0

I think releasing it in 1.0 when we already know that we will deprecate 
it in 1.1 or 1.2 is bad style. Especially considering that, as far as I 
know, the 1.0 version would be identical to the commons-lang version.
