Oh, and we also need someone to update all the moving parts of
http://apache.org/events/README

Again, if nobody gets to it, I will eventually, of course, but these are
places where any of you can step up if you have the time.

* Update archives.apachecon.com

* Twitter schedule for session recordings - specifically, take the list
of session recordings from http://feathercast.apache.org/, and put them
into a Hootsuite import csv format, or at least into a spreadsheet that
I can turn into one.

* Promote videos of keynotes, and LTs, via social media.

* Create timestamp index of lightning talk video -

Please raise your hand for one of the above tasks, but only if you

One suggestion I'd make is to review the text of some other foundations /

Shane "Five Things You Might Not Know About Apache" t=147

What we need to know here is:
- mm:ss where each speaker is about to start
- Speaker name and talk title - perhaps Ruth/Daniel have notes from the
sign-up sheet?

Then Rich or someone with admin privs can add description lines like:

(mm:ss) Speaker - Title

that youtube auto-links within the video.

Hi All

It’s been nearly 2 years since we ran our ASF Committer Diversity Survey so I
think it's about time that we looked at running it again to see if things are
changing. For those of you who haven't seen the details or the results from our
2016 ASF Committer Diversity Survey then you can find them at the link below:

https://s.apache.org/lV9h

Our original 2016 survey was run to:

  - help us get a picture of our existing diversity as all our committers are
linked to all ASF projects, and also;
 - to create a baseline measure so we can see if we see if we are improving
or not in our diversity efforts.

So I think that it would also be good to discuss and review the survey
questions to see if we can improve them or the phrasing to better capture the
data. Also if anyone is interested in helping out then please let me know.

Thanks
Sharan

Re: Speakers and booth support needed at the next Codemotion events

2018-10-01 Thread Piergiorgio Lucidi
Hi,

Codemotion is coming and we probably need some stickers for these events:

   - Berlin on 20th and 21th November (Luciano and maybe PJ)
   - Milan on 29th and 30th November (PJ and Luciano)
   - Madrid on 30th and 1st December (Ignasi)

We will have for sure a booth in Madrid and Milan so for these location it
would be great to also have the Apache rollup.
How could we make an order for a stock of stickers?

Please let me know.
Thank you.

Cheers,
PJ
