Re: Support for ComDev / Roadshow EU
Hi Julian, I had a chat with Myrle about the same topic as well. I think it would be a shame if we didn't have any EU event next year, lets make sure that doesn't happen :) I am happy to help in any way I can! Support for ComDev / Roadshow EU
Hi all, last week at ApacheCon EU I tried to spend some time at the Apache Booth (as I already did in Las Vegas). Mostly to hang around with Sharan but also to help out a bit : ) As the word is currently out that there is no ACEU planned for next year I wanted to express my wish that we get something done at least like a Roadshow. As I get more and more insight into how much work this is I also offer to support in the organization / planning, as much as I can. And overall, thanks all of you again for the awesome job and the really enjoyable last week! Julian

Yes, projects maintain their own DOAP files. If the project data file is wrong, then the output is likely to be wrong also. I suppose it might be possible to do some more validation on the DOAP files, but I'm not sure the effort would be worth it. > I too noticed some time ago the "iot" category was only used by Apache Camel, > so I fixed this at least for Apache PLC4X. > We integrated this into our code-repo and the site-generation: > https://github.com/apache/plc4x/blob/develop/src/site/resources-filtered/plc4x-doap.rdf > > And I just noticed it is slightly out of date with respect to our latest > releases. > > Chris > > > Am 25.10.19, 01:26 schrieb "sebb" : > > On Thu, 24 Oct 2019 at 23:30, Nick Burch wrote: > > > > Hi All > > > > I've spotted what looks like a data bug, but might be a code bug, on > > projects.apache.org. Re: projects.apache.org urls showing in some projects categories
Hi, Well as far as I understood it, this data is provided by the RDF files projects maintain themselves. I too noticed some time ago the "iot" category was only used by Apache Camel, so I fixed this at least for Apache PLC4X. We integrated this into our code-repo and the site-generation: https://github.com/apache/plc4x/blob/develop/src/site/resources-filtered/plc4x-doap.rdf And I just noticed it is slightly out of date with respect to our latest releases.
