Description:
h4. Apache EventMesh (incubating)

range of use cases that encompass complex multi-cloud, widely distributed
topologies using diverse technology stacks.

 * Learn the basics of Knative Eventing and its communication protocol
 * Implement the EventMesh Knative-Connector module to deliver events to Knative

Hi Karl-Heinz

Yes you are in the right place. The reporter tool is one that is maintained by
ComDev.
I took a look at your links and agree that for those two mailing list the
statistics suddenly stop in January 2022 even though there are posts up till
April 2022.

This is related to an older script that used mail-archives.apache.org
for gathering weekly stats. It'll need to be tweaked to gather
statistics from lists.apache.org instead.

My first thought was it is being done by Kibble but taking a look at the Comdev
page https://community.apache.org/about/ I found the code for
reporter.apache.org is sitting in comdev's SVN.

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/comdev/reporter.apache.org/

I'm not sure what's been deployed and whether it is the tagged version or the
trunk. Looking around I see there is a script that is pulling mailing list data
that uses

http://mail-archives.us.apache.org/mod_mbox/

So not sure if it's anything to do with that. It probably needs someone with
better coding skills than me investigate it :-) - so if any of our committers
are available then please take a look and see you what you can find.

Thanks
Sharan

Hi to all,

currently taking a look for creating the board report (Apache Maven
Project) and seeing that the graphs about mailing list activity
is showing wrong results in particular for two mailing list:

The graph for iss...@maven.apache.org is showing activity up to 6.
January 2022 also the notificati...@maven.apache.org the same...

If I take a look at
https://lists.apache.org/list.html?iss...@maven.apache.org and
https://lists.apache.org/list.html?notificati...@maven.apache.org
there are a lot of activities on those list after the date of 6. January
2022.

Am I here at the right place? If there is a better place can someone
just tell me?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Karl Heinz Marbaise

[REMINDER]: Submissions Open for Community Track at ApacheCon New Orleans

2022-04-10 Thread sharanf

Hi All

The CFP for ApacheCon NA in New Orleans is open and wanted to remind you
that we have a Community track and we are looking for your submissions.

So what is the Community track? It's an opportunity for anyone from our
communities to talk about and share what they have done, learned or
experienced as part of being in involved with Apache.

So what sort of topics are we looking for? (Here are some examples to
get you thinking :-)

 * Your Apache story..How and why did you get involved with the ASF?
 * What does it mean to you to be a Contributor, Committer, Member or
   Officer in the Foundation?
 * What does the Apache way mean to you? What are your real life
stories about understanding and adopting it?
 * Did you or your project have any particular challenges to overcome?
What happened? What worked? And what didn't!
 * How diverse and inclusive are our communities? What have you seen or
   experienced?
 * All those with knowledge of Apache branding, licencing, governance -
please feel free to submit something that will share your knowledge
   with others.
 * Do you have any data or opinions about where we are now and what our
   future communities could evolve into?

The Community Track is all about our communities sharing their thoughts
and experiences with others, so that we can learn from it.
I'm going to mention this upfront as we always seem to get a rush of
submissions in the last week or even the last 24 hours of the CFP - so
although the CFP closes on 23rd May - please don't leave it to the last
moment to submit something :-)

Please see below for a link to the CFP
and you can alsofind out more
details on the ApacheCon site .

It's great to finally be planning a face to face event and we are
looking forward to your submissions :-)

Thanks
Sharan

Hi Maxim,

Good question.

As mentioned in the FAQ (and on this list last week):
*Due to current circumstances, GSoC 2022 is not accepting participants
(Contributors, Mentors or Organization Administrators) from Russia,
Belarus, or the so-called Donetsk People's Republic ("DNR") and Luhansk
People's Republic ("LNR"). There are no restrictions on participants
located within Ukraine but outside of the DNR and LNR.*

Any Org Admins or Mentors that are in Russia, Belarus, DNR or LNR will
need to withdraw themselves from the GSoC 2022 program. There is a
'Withdraw from Program' red link in your User Profile (toward the bottom of
the page). That will just withdraw you from this GSoC 2022 program and in
the future you will be able to use the same profile to register for a given
program when the situation allows.

Best,
Stephanie
